We are a part of Memories Group. Originally, our parent company, Shwe Lay Ta Gun Travels and Tours Company Limited, was established in 1999 in Myanmar. From the very beginning, we have been based in Bagan, operating under the name Balloons Over Bagan, BOB. For over 26 years, we have been providing commercial balloon flight experiences, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Bagan region.

We are proud to be the pioneer of commercial hot air balloon operators in Myanmar.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we operated in Bagan, Inle, and Loikaw areas with a workforce of approximately 270 employees, delivering scenic ballooning experiences to both local and international travelers.

Following the pandemic, we have gradually resumed our operations in line with changing market conditions, and we now operate hot air balloon flights seasonally during the winter season each year.

Today, Balloons Over Bagan has become a recognized and well-regarded service provider in the international tourism industry.

The company headquarters is located in Pun Hlaing Campus, Hlaing Thar Yar township, Yangon , with our current operational base in Bagan. We conduct our hot air balloon flight operations annually between October and April.

At present, our team consists of around 85 staff members, including experienced international pilots and dedicated local employees.
